suggestions and food for thought are wanted

Pues como miembro mismamente de otro departamento de inglés (esta vez peninsular) os saludo y os congratulo en esta fantástica idea.

My suggestion:
If you dont like reading, watch all the tv you can in English with subtitles. It´s an amazingly fast way of interiozing grammar and also a fun way of learning slang and current language features. Besides being the cheapest way of keeping in touch with the language (the other way being travelling to an English speaking country)
When renting a dvd, select the English audio and the English subtitles. You can also go to youtube and check out some of the older sitcoms and find out if you can watch them in English with subtitles. It might be hard to find some of the popular sitcoms because of copyright problems, but there´s always something interesting you can learn from.
